Hiring High School Arts & Crafts Instructors (Jr. Arts)

Employment Type: Part-Time (8 weeks Fall / 8 weeks Spring)
Job Title: Arts & Crafts Instructor
Start Date: Tentative Date (September 9, 2024)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, (8-10 hours/week)
Work Hours: Between 2:30 - 5:00 PM
Location: Santa Clarita Valley
Pay: $30 Hourly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students in arts and crafts projects
  • Lead 90-minute art classes with provided curriculum
  • Prepare materials, including mixing paint and distributing supplies
  • Take photos and record short videos during class
  • Inspire and motivate students to embrace entrepreneurship

Skills/Requirements:

  • Experience freelancing, exhibiting, and selling art
  • Provide a digital portfolio for consideration
  • Versatile in various arts and crafts
  • Experience working with students in classrooms or after-school programs
  • Pass a background check via fingerprinting before hiring
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
