Maintenance Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Independently oversee routine and emergency work requests related to maintenance and utility matters.
  • Collaborate weekly with the Assistant Director of Facility Operations on repair matters such as plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building-related elements.
  • Possess expertise in multiple trades and a comprehensive understanding of the repair process.
  • Log and Manage work orders through the designated systems (Fitness EMS, FAMIS).
  • Daily Communicate with staff regarding special events needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between Campus Recreation and Facilities Management Staff.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to develop plans and budgets for special projects and renovations.
