CMHA is looking to hire a HR Coordinator for our New Britain office.
Position Summary: The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources staff by assisting in administrative activities including: recruiting, on-boarding, benefit communication, leave administration, personnel file maintenance, performance management, compliance to federal, state laws and company policies, training, terminations and day to day needs. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for processing employment documentation, record-keeping, and additional administrative/clerical tasks to ensure seamless flow of the employee life cycle and confidentiality of employee data.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
  • Works closely with HR colleagues to ensure that programs and policies are aligned, enhances employee engagement, and improves performance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Non-Profit Human Services organizations
  • Experience with HR information systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree
COMPENSATION RANGE- $20-$27 an hour
