Workload Automation Engineer - Remote Summer Intern
You could be the one who changes everything for our 26 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
Position Purpose:
- Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.
Intern will:
- Help to develop and support end-to-end automated solutions for IT functions within enterprise scheduling system.
- Assist in establishing workflows that use automated pipelines for continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Desired skillsets:
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Translate non-technical requirements from customers within application and business teams to meet their needs or correct issues
- Understanding of batch job framework is a plus
- Experience with SFTP or batch scheduling system is a plus
Experience/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
