Safety & Occupational Health Specialist
Duties
Evaluates the implementation and administration of the DISA Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs.Plans, controls, and evaluates a comprehensive safety and occupational health program in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and guidance published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).Conducts annual staff assistance visits to collateral field activity safety program administrators. Provides accidental injury and illness data for the command. Promotes safety through the appropriate medium (poster, videotape, brochure, training assembly, etc.) for use in promoting safety.
