Focus Intervention Team/Community Oversight Group Analyst II - Limited Duration
The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer is seeking a Focus Intervention Team/Community Oversight Group Analyst II to join their team.
The Focused Intervention Team (FIT) Community Oversight Group (COG) Analyst II will be the City’s liaison to and support for, the Community Oversight Group (COG). The COG will provide oversight and direction for the newly created Focused Intervention Team (FIT) in the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). The goal of FIT is to deescalate and lower the tensions in the community that are feeding the contagious gun violence crisis. The Analyst, at the COG’s direction, will provide staffing and analysis of PPB data on gun violence and the FIT’s encounters in the community. Additionally, the Analyst will be the staff liaison to City staff and support the COG with communications, administration, logistics, and research.
