LEAVE REPLACEMENT SCHOOL COUNSELOR

This candidate’s primary responsibility is to counsel students in resolving personal, educational and career concerns. The counselor helps students learn behavior, subject matter, and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible men and women. This includes the following:

a.           Assist in planning guidance programs and pupil personnel services for teams/grade levels;

b.           Provide individual and group counseling for personal, educational and career guidance;

c.           Act as consultant to, confers, and communicates with parents and staff in reference to the student’s growth and development. Counselors also play a vital role in developing the school’s and individual schedules.
