NAMS Marketing, Web Design, Graphics Aide
The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual with a desire to gain working experience and marketing skills. The candidate will engage in marketing and administrative tasks under the guidance of the NAMS Media and Web Specialist. This opportunity will provide hands-on learning in marketing, web design, and graphics. The work will be a critical influence in the school’s attainment of its goals for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
· Work with Media and Web Specialist to manage brand and marketing initiatives within the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NAMS).
· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing and recruitment initiatives.
· Assist with social media and website content.
· ability to learn and utilize OU Campus CMS
· build page layouts
· edit existing content
· photo editing (resizing) and upload to website/social media
- Organize and manage marketing collateral.
- Update spreadsheets and databases.
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the marketing manager.
Requirements:
· Self-starter with an eye for detail.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
· Eagerness and ability to learn quickly and expand your technical repertoire.
· Ability to generate, share, and follow through on creative ideas.
· Ability to collaborate with others as well as work independently.
· Working knowledge or ability to learn MS Office, Photoshop or other image editing software, and social media apps (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
The position is a learning experience for the right candidate. Experience in web design and/or graphics is desirable, but not necessary. Students from all academic disciplines are welcome to apply. Days and times are flexible.
