Provisionally Licensed – Child/Adolescent Therapist
We are a growing private practice specializing in anxiety and trauma and we are seeking a skilled, anti-rascist, pre-licensed clinician to work on a part-time, fee for service basis in a comfortable and professional environment. The job description is below:
- Job Title: Provisionally Licensed – Child/Adolescent Therapist
- Part-time, fee for service basis

- Location: Scotch Plains, NJ (working virtually now due to COVID-19)
- Minimum Qualifications: Licensed in the state of NJ to provide mental health services (LSW, LAC, MA, PsyD, PhD) and clinical experience with children and teens during internship or externship
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma specific therapies (TF-CBT, EMDR), exposure therapy, play therapy, parent therapies, and/or family therapies. Experience with LGBTQIA+ and ethnically diverse populations. Lived experience valued.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide comprehensive psychosocial intakes and individual and family therapy
- Work with child survivors of sexual abuse and their non-offending parents
- Maintain clinical file including intake summary, documentation and authorizations for collateral contacts
- Be available on: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday (and/or Sunday) OR Wednesday, Saturday (and/or Sunday)
- Develop community relationships, network and market
